Forum rules

You are not allowed to:

  1. Post offensive, discriminatory, calling for violence, fomenting hatred or libelous content.

  2. Spam or distribute malicious files, programs etc.

  3. Post content that may not be spam but does not correspond to the purpose of the Site, to the forum group, to the blog post, in the comments to which this content is posted, or to the topic in the forum group (there are allowed messages that do not correspond to the theme in the forum group but are related to the discussion taking place there (for example, they are a reaction of approval to a previous message, contain clarification, objection, etc. (and even, for example, simply report noteworthy (but not related to the topic in the forum group) facts and details about something mentioned in the discussion)).

NB! I really want to draw your attention to the following:

When registering on the site (and registration on the site is only needed to use the forum), a nickname (on the “Account” page related to your account, this is called a “display name”) is generated automatically based on your email address, representing the username of the email address (that is, the part of the email address that precedes the “@” character). This may violate your privacy. You can change your nickname in any way (on the “Account” page related to your account), can specify as a nickname any abstract set of characters or your real name (for example, along with your last name).

  1. And another privacy issue:

When registering on the site, the URL of your account is generated automatically (all URL elements are standard for all users, here I mean the path element identifying a specific user (such a path element can be called a username)) based on the email address specified during registration: from the email address there is left the username (that is, the part of the email address that precedes the “@” character), and arbitrary five digits are added to it. Such a URL poses a privacy threat because it reveals part of your email address (and it may, for example, include your real first and last name), and at the same time, due to the interface features of the site, you may not immediately discover the URL of your account, and therefore I recommend that every user immediately after registration finds out the URL of his account (you can do this by selecting “edit URL” at the bottom of the previously mentioned “Account” page) and changes it if, in his opinion, it violates his privacy.
